Sr. Cybersecurity Specialist

Gridiron IT is looking to hire a Sr. Cybersecurity Specialist to support a government program in St. Louis, MO.

The Security Delivery Lead plays a critical role in the application migration team by leading the implementation and delivery of Security Services projects throughout the migration process. This position is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of security are properly addressed during the migration of applications to cloud environments. The Security Delivery Lead works within Agile frameworks to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of security measures, collaborating closely with other team members to integrate security seamlessly into the migration process. This Security Delivery Lead role is crucial for ensuring that security is effectively integrated into every aspect of the application migration process. The position requires a blend of technical security expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively within an Agile team to deliver robust security solutions in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of security projects related to application migration
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for security initiatives
- Ensure security projects align with overall migration goals and timelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements for the migrated applications
- Develop comprehensive security strategies that address risks associated with cloud migration
- Conduct and/or support security risk assessments for applications undergoing migration
- Identify potential vulnerabilities and threats in both existing and target environments
- Ensure security controls are properly integrated into the new cloud environment
- Collaborate with cloud architects to implement security-by-design principles
- Lead the implementation of security measures, including access controls, encryption, and monitoring systems
- Oversee the configuration and deployment of security tools and technologies
- Ensure migrated applications meet regulatory compliance requirements
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures for the new environment
- Develop and maintain incident response plans for the migrated environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of migration
- Communicate security strategies, progress, and issues to stakeholders at all levels
- Provide guidance on secure coding practices and cloud security principles

Requirements: Bachelors degree
Years of Experience: 5-8

Skills:
Azure Architecture. Azure Administration. Administering Azure Services

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Compensation and Benefits: Salary Range: $70-80 hourly (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
