Position Description:
  • Client is looking for a Java Architect / Product Owner with strong knowledge of the product development lifecycle, Java technologies, application architecture, and software design patterns. The candidate should have a good understanding of business requirements, the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of Java 8 or above, Apache Struts 1.3.8 or above, Servlet/JSP 2.3 or above, Servlet API 3.1 or above, Apache Tomcat 8 or above, Oracle Database 11.2.x or above, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and DHTML. Strong proficiency in Java OOP concepts, RESTful API architecture, and software design patterns is required.

  • The role also involves reviewing business requirements and user stories, identifying gaps and ambiguities, designing and executing test cases, preparing test data, identifying and tracking defects, retesting fixes, and documenting test results. The candidate should understand testing methodologies, processes, tools, and standards to ensure application quality, reliability, usability, performance, and compatibility.

  • The candidate must be adaptable to changing requirements, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and complete assigned tasks within established timelines. This is an onsite position requiring five days per week at the client's Wisconsin office.
