Technical Project Manager (Marketing Analytics)

US - CA - Bay Area - Remote preferred

Must-Have Skills             

This is essentially a Technical Program Manager (TPM) / Senior Technical Project Manager role embedded within Marketing Analytics & Product Development organization.

Roadmap Operationalization

• Ability to translate the vision and roadmap into actionable plans.
• Ensure tactical execution with the team.

Blocker & Dependency Management

• Identify blockers and dependencies as they arise.
• Assess associated risks and proactively address them.

Team Collaboration

• Work effectively with the team to drive progress.
• Build on the vision and support tactical operations.

Years of overall experience required? : 8-10 years

The project management role supports the product development team to achieve successful completion of projects according to a defined roadmap. This role will be providing support working under a scrum methodology.

NOTE: Preference for a marketing analytics background, but not required or a strong preference if it would prolong the search

Summary of Day-to-Day Work

• Manage day-to-day projects planning and management activities through team standups, project management tooling, project meetings, and eliminate/mitigate risks and blockers.
• Initiate, schedule and conduct program & project meetings and follow-ups with engineers, decision science, business engineers, business analysts, and product managers.

Additional context:

• This role will support the team in delivering standard and centralized reporting for both our Marketing and Decision Scientists aimed at improving brand sentiment for all of client and its Apps as well as improving conversions for our performance marketing brands.
• This team directly aids in delivering business outcomes at a company level.

Requirements:

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, technical program management, or related fields
• Strong technical acumen and understanding of software development processes and best practices
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Self-starter with a bias towards action and a passion for driving results
