Responsibilities

• EHR User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide highly responsive support to Electronic Health Record (EHR) users across regional health districts. Effectively triage, troubleshoot, and escalate technical and functional issues.

• System & Workflow Maintenance: Monitor, manage, and optimize key EHR workflows, system processes, and standard operating procedures.

• Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational needs, evaluate existing EHR capabilities, identify process gaps, and recommend effective system solutions.

• Requirements Gathering & Agile Documentation: Gather, analyze, and formally document business requirements for system enhancements. Develop clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and other necessary Agile documentation.

• Quality Assurance & Testing: Actively support and participate in functional, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with technical engineers, clinical staff, and business teams to align system functionality with user needs.

• Training & Documentation: Produce, update, and distribute clear user documentation, job aids, and training materials to drive system adoption.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience providing software or application support, strongly preferred within a healthcare or clinical environment.

• Demonstrated expertise in business requirements documentation and system enhancement analysis.

• Solid understanding of healthcare operations, encompassing clinical, pharmaceutical, and patient billing workflows.

• Hands-on experience participating in and supporting structured software testing cycles.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication abilities.

• Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, SharePoint, and Visio.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct background in supporting, maintaining, or implementing comprehensive EHR systems.

• Specific knowledge of Oracle Health / Cerner platforms and public health workflows.

• Technical familiarity with SQL, Oracle databases, and web application environments.

• Working knowledge of Agile project methodologies and related documentation standards.
