This is an opportunity to design impactful ETL processes, data marts, reports, and dashboards that support both internal and external stakeholders.
In this role, you will develop and maintain ETL processes, design and enhance data marts, and create BI reports and PowerBI dashboards based on business requirements. Working closely with the Director of Development, you'll translate reporting needs into scalable solutions using SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and Microsoft Reporting Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop ETL processes and maintain BI workflows
- Design and supplement data marts using dimensional modeling and star schema principles
- Build reports with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and PowerBI
- Create and optimize T-SQL stored procedures and queries
- Analyze performance and implement query optimization improvements
- Test and validate reports to ensure accuracy and functionality
- Collaborate with development teams on BI architecture and reporting solutions
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and database schema design
- Hands-on knowledge of SSIS or other ETL tools
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, and BI artifacts
- Understanding of query optimization and performance tuning
- Advanced Excel skills
Preferred Skills and Experience: Azure SQL, Azure Managed Instance, Microsoft Azure Cloud, financial systems experience, Agile methodology.
