Data Scientist

Data Scientist for Randstad Digital, LLC. Multiple openings. Headquarters: Woburn, MA. Develop, design, and implement analytics applications, APIs, backend services, computer vision algorithms, software solutions on cloud and edge infrastructure, pipelines for data ingestion, components, and models for object detection, recognition, segmentation, tracking, and video analysis. Review machine learning, datasets from autonomous robots, inventory issues, product placement, requirements, pricing errors, checkout behaviors, open-source contributions, data quality, statistical analysis and metrics, outputs, sprints, codes, security, bottlenecks. Confer with software engineers and product managers, translate model insights and technical findings, and document and chart model architecture, data handling, testing validation protocols, and compliance. Identify business problems, satisfy client/user needs, recommend modifications, and formulate test plans. Use Python, Java, React, CI/CD, Spring Framework, PyTorch, Deep Leaning, SQL, NoSQL, Git, GitHub, Maven, Restful API. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and one (1) year experience in the proffered position, or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. Must have at least six (6) months of experience developing APIs, backend services, components; reviewing algorithms, requirements, metrics, codes, security, bottlenecks, compliance; performing testing; using Python, Java, CI/CD, Spring Framework, SQL, Git, GitHub, Maven, Restful API. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $161,804 to $161,850/yr.
