Senior AI Engineer_Snowflake Expert

Introduction

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer with deep expertise in Snowflake Native Apps, Snowpark, Cortex AI, and Databricks to design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI applications. This role will involve building AI-powered solutions, RAG applications, AI agents, and scalable data applications using Snowflake and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Snowflake Native Apps and AI-powered applications.
• Build scalable AI solutions using Snowpark, Cortex AI, Databricks, and Apache Spark.
• Develop RAG pipelines, AI agents, copilots, and intelligent search applications.
• Integrate Snowflake, Databricks, enterprise APIs, and cloud services.
• Optimize Snowflake and Databricks environments for performance, scalability, security, and cost.
• Develop secure REST APIs and microservices supporting AI applications.
• Implement CI/CD, automated testing, and software engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver enterprise AI solutions.

Requirements

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Software Engineering, AI Engineering, or Data Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Native App Framework.
• Strong experience with Snowpark (Python) and Snowflake SQL.
• Experience with Snowflake Cortex AI, Cortex Search, and Cortex Analyst.
• Strong experience with Python, SQL, Apache Spark/PySpark, and Databricks.
• Experience building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications and AI-powered solutions.
• Experience with LLMs, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, and Agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience with REST APIs, FastAPI, and microservices.
• Experience integrating Snowflake and Databricks for enterprise analytics and AI workloads.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, distributed computing, CI/CD, and cloud-native application development.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Databricks Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, MLflow, Mosaic AI, Databricks Workflows.
• LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDK, Anthropic Claude SDK.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Experience publishing Snowflake Native Apps to the Snowflake Marketplace.
• SnowPro and/or Databricks certifications.
