Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior SAP Finance Architect to lead a complex ERP transformation program involving Brownfield S/4HANA conversions and Greenfield S/4HANA implementations. This role requires deep expertise across FI, CO, AA, AP, AR, Banking, Treasury, and integration to logistics modules, with responsibility for finance architecture, solution design, and leadership in program execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture & Design
- Lead the end‐to‐end S/4HANA Finance architecture, covering FI, CO, New GL/Universal Journal, AA, AP, AR, Banking, Treasury, and integration to logistics modules.
- Drive conversion readiness activities, including CVI (BP Conversion), Universal Journal migration, and simplification item remediation.
- Define the target financial data model, including:
- Chart of Accounts (CoA) harmonization
- Cost center, profit center, segment, fund, grant design
- Tax, asset accounting, treasury and cash processes
- IFRS/GAAP reporting alignment
- Architect SAP Best Practices adoption for the Greenfield implementation and guide design decisions aligned with Clean Core principles.
- Client Engagement & Leadership
- Serve as the primary finance design authority in front of senior stakeholders.
- Conduct workshops: Client, Fit/Gap, Design, and Playback Sessions.
- Implementation & Delivery Oversight
- Provide functional oversight during configuration, development, and testing cycles.
- Guide the creation of:
- Functional specifications (WRICEF)
- Integration designs (Ariba, SuccessFactors, WFS, banking, external portals)
- Migration objects for Greenfield Implementation
- Ensure smooth execution of SIT, UAT, and Cutover readiness.
- Support cutover, reconciliations, mock conversions, and month‐end validation.
Required Skills and Experience:- Technical & Functional Expertise
- 12+ years of SAP Finance experience; 2+ full‐cycle S/4HANA programs required.
- Expert-level understanding of Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and S/4HANA financial data structures
- Deep knowledge of Following S/4HANA Finance Modules

- Strong exposure to:
- S/4HANA Brownfield Conversion
- Finance Object Data Mapping and Transformation
- Business Partner (CVI) conversion
- Embedded Analytics & Fiori apps
- Architecture & Integration
- Expertise in designing integrations with:
- Ariba, Concur, SuccessFactors, Utility IS‐U (optional)
- Banking interfaces, MBC, EDI, 3rd‐party procurement systems
- Deep knowledge of integrations between:
- FI–MM (GR/IR, inventory valuation)
- FI–SD (billing, rev rec, credit management)
- FI–PM/EAM (asset postings, maintenance orders)
- FI–HR/SuccessFactors (payroll, cost allocations)
- FI–Ariba (Sourcing, Contracts, P2P)
- Ability to evaluate customizations vs. SAP standard, ensuring "Clean Core.”
- Leadership Skills
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive‐level presence.
- Ability to facilitate workshops with senior finance stakeholders.
- Leading functional teams across FI/CO/AA/Banking/Treasury
- Representing Finance in program governance, RAID reviews, and stage gates
