Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience as a Principal Investigator (PI) on a minimum of five industry-focused drug trials in medical oncology.
- Proven track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, particularly in oncology research.
- Experience in obtaining and managing industry-funded research projects.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory standards and guidelines for clinical trials (e.g., FDA, ICH-GCP).
- Experience mentoring junior researchers and medical personnel.
- Proficiency in designing and executing strategies for patient recruitment and retention in clinical trials.
- History of successful collaboration with researchers, institutions, and industry partners.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong background in designing, implementing, and overseeing clinical trials.
- Successful history of writing and securing grants from both industry and government sources.
- Expertise in data analysis, biostatistics, and interpreting research findings.
- Experience presenting research results at conferences and professional meetings.
- Ability to adapt to emerging research methodologies and technologies.
- Innovative mindset to formulate new research questions and strategies.
- Familiarity with electronic data capture systems and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
