Title: Product Owner
Location: 6+ Months contract with extension
Location: Eagan, MN
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong healthcare payer background, specifically in medical plans. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Business Analyst and Quality Assurance experience and be comfortable leading requirements through testing in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring user stories have clear acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain business requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional documentation.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases to validate business requirements.
• Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) while working closely with QA and development teams to resolve defects.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business objectives and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
• Experience as a Product Owner with prior Business Analyst and Quality Assurance responsibilities.
• Strong healthcare payer/medical plan experience.
• Hands-on experience gathering and documenting requirements.
• Experience creating test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Local candidates preferred.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams within healthcare organizations.
