Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Renewal Operations Specialist to support our Subscription Services Operations (SSO) team in Santa Clara, CA.
This role will provide critical operational support to the Renewals Sales team by ensuring renewal and upgrade opportunities are accurately quoted, validated, and aligned with existing contracts and expiration dates.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, strong data analysis and organizational skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of transactions while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Review and validate renewal and upgrade opportunities for accuracy and completeness.
Build and maintain renewal opportunities and quotes in Salesforce/SFDC using CPQ.
Create and validate quotes for renewals, upgrades, and subscription services.
Work closely with Renewal, Sales, and Finance teams to align upgrades with existing renewal dates.
Review contractual and installed-base information to ensure accurate quoting.
Verify pricing, product, contract, and customer data across internal systems.
Support field and sales teams with installed-base requests and renewal-related information.
Identify and resolve data discrepancies, quoting issues, and potential roadblocks.
Ensure quotes are accurate and complete before being transferred to Subscription Services Representatives (SSRs).
Assist with renewal reporting, data quality initiatives, and process-improvement projects.
Help improve renewal processes, reporting structures, and operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate data and follow established compliance and operational procedures.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure renewals are completed accurately and on time.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Renewals Operations, Contract Administration, or a related field.
Hands-on Salesforce experience is required.
Experience creating and building quotes in Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) is strongly preferred/required.
Strong understanding of sales support and operational processes.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

Ability to manage high-volume transactional work.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with renewal processes, support contracts, subscriptions, or maintenance agreements.
Experience with inventory or installed-base management.
Experience supporting a Renewals or Subscription Services organization.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
What You'll Do in This Role
You will serve as a key back-office operations partner to the Renewals Sales team. Your primary focus will be analyzing customer and contractual data, validating installed-base information, building accurate Salesforce CPQ quotes, and ensuring renewal opportunities are ready for the front-office team.
Your attention to detail and ability to identify potential roadblocks will help improve renewal predictability, reduce quoting errors, and ensure opportunities are completed ahead of contract expiration.

Important Requirement
Candidates must have hands-on Salesforce experience, particularly experience creating/building quotes using Salesforce CPQ.
This is primarily a Renewals/Sales Operations support role, rather than a direct sales position.
