Oracle DBA
Introduction:
The Oracle DBA will be responsible for designing and executing database upgrades, maintaining database environments, and ensuring the stability, patching, and scalability of critical database environments that support ERP implementations and upgrades.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute database upgrades from Oracle 19c to Oracle 23ai
- Maintain multiple environments supporting ETL activities
- Setup and maintain Grid Infrastructure (ASM, Clusterware)
- Ensure high-availability using GoldenGate and Active Data Guard
- Perform advanced scripting in Linux and SQL
- Monitor database performance and recommend efficiency improvements
- Assist in benchmarking and threshold testing of databases
- Implement and enhance standards on database security
- Assist with disaster recovery procedures and systems

Additional job details and special considerations:
We are seeking a Senior Operational Oracle DBA to ensure the stability, patching, and scalability of critical database environments that support multiple concurrent ERP implementations and upgrades. The primary responsibility is to design and execute database upgrades from Oracle 19c to Oracle 23ai, and to maintain multiple environments that support ETL activities. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Grid Infrastructure setup and maintenance, security vulnerability compliance, and performance tuning. This position requires working outside standard business hours, depending on project activities. This is a remote position; if it should become hybrid, in-office schedule will be negotiated.
