JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a fully remote contract position designed to provide additional support during the peak enrollment season. Candidates must reside and perform work within Minnesota.

Enrollment Experience Specialist

Responsible for processing and maintaining member enrollments through multiple channels, including paper applications, inbound enrollment, and online portals. This role requires adapting to different processing methods and work assignments, as well as accurately completing updates, changes, and corrections. Additionally, the position involves investigating and resolving enrollment issues and fostering strong relationships with vendors, clients, and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Processing and maintaining member enrollments accurately through multiple channels, including paper applications, inbound enrollment, online portals, and reporting.
• Manage and monitor internal, vendor, and business partner questions, ensuring all inquiries are resolved promptly and accurately.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the enrollment workflows, systems, and related processes.
• Research and resolve enrollment issues and safeguard data integrity across all platforms.
• Maintains and fosters relationships with vendors, clients, and business partners.
• Cross-train multiple enrollment methods to provide flexible support across different enrollment areas as needed.
• Collaborate with other lines of business to mentor and coach peers, fostering knowledge and sharing skill development.
• Participate in special projects requiring subject matter expertise in enrollment processes, contributing insights and best practices.
• Performs additional responsibilities consistent with the scope and level of the role, as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1+ years of related work experience
• High school diploma (or equivalent)

• Ability to communicate clearly with varied internal contacts, actively listen to clarify needs, and ensure accurate and timely exchange of information.
• Ability to recognize patterns in recurring issues, gather relevant information, and collaborate with others to implement practical solutions.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks across assignments, manage time effectively, and adjust to shifting workloads while maintaining accuracy.
• Prior insurance, healthcare or enrollment experience.
• Strong customer service focus with ability to understand and convey technical information in a simple, user-friendly manner.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive working relationship internally as well as externally.
• Strong presentation and/or facilitation skills.
