Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough functional UI testing to validate application behavior against business workflows and technical requirements
• Design, develop, and maintain UI automation scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Java, or Python with Page Object Model
• Execute end-to-end testing including UI interactions, backend services, APIs, and database validations using SQL queries
• Perform API testing with Karate and validate RESTful services, response codes, and payloads
• Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating with developers to verify fixes
• Execute regression testing during sprint cycles and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Provide clear status updates on testing progress and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with strong UI functional and automation testing
• Hands-on expertise with Selenium or Playwright, Java/Python, and Page Object Model
• Experience with API testing using Karate, REST Assured, or similar tools
• Proficiency in SQL queries for database validation
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, QA best practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control (Git)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
