Network/Computer Technician

Introduction:

We are looking for a Network/Computer Technician to plan, coordinate, and support all IT-related activities at the local site. The role involves working closely with Corporate IT teams to achieve technical and business goals while ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Responsibilities:

Desktop Support:

• Install, configure, and support Windows 10 workstations
• Provide support for legacy applications

Network & Connectivity Support:

• Coordinate with Corporate IT for firewalls, switches, and WiFi setup
• Support printers, fax machines, and other devices

Server Support:

• Manage Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, 2019)
• Use Active Directory for user and system configurations

Phone System Support:

• Handle handset moves/adds/changes
• Support IP phone systems

Project Management:

• Manage office moves, network setup, and security systems
• Perform hardware/software upgrades and maintenance

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field
• 3+ years of IT support experience
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN/WiFi and Microsoft technologies

Preferred:

• Experience with MSSQL, Kaseya, Dell/HP systems, Citrix, VoIP

Skills:

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of Office 365, Teams

Additional Information:

• Travel: 50% within Boston area
• On-call support required (24/7 environment)
• Must pass background check & drug test
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
