Pay Range: $160000 - $170000/annum. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- This role focuses on replacing long-lived credentials with short-lived secrets, implementing HashiCorp Vault integration, and establishing key management practices across customer AWS environment.
- Responsible for eliminating static credentials from production and implementing credential rotation automation
- Design and implement secrets management architecture using HashiCorp Vault and AWS Secrets Manager
- Replace long-lived credentials with short-lived, automatically rotated secrets
- Implement KMS key management policies and key rotation automation
- Configure Vault integration with AWS IAM for dynamic credential generation
- Build credential lifecycle automation (creation, rotation, revocation)
- Implement secure secret injection patterns for application workloads
- Establish key management standards for encryption at rest and in transit
- Document secrets management procedures and operational runbooks
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Skills- ("CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE") AND (ARCHITECT) AND ("SECRETS MANAGEMENT") AND ("KEY MANAGEMENT") AND (HASHICORP)
- HashiCorp Vault architecture, deployment, and operations
- AWS Secrets Manager, KMS, and key management
- Dynamic credential generation and rotation patterns
- Encryption standards (AES-256, RSA, envelope encryption)
- Integration patterns between Vault and AWS services
- Infrastructure-as-code for Vault configuration
- Application secret injection (sidecar, init-container, environment variable patterns)
- Certificate management and PKI ope
