Project Description:
ADAS ECU project for leading Americas OEM, Cameras, Ultrasonic Sensors, Computer Vision, Advanced parking features. Testing team is based in office in Troy, MI, most time vehicle testing is conducted on test track in Auburn Hills.
Responsibilities:
- Execution of vehicle test scenarios
- Flashing of ECUs
- Troubleshooting
- Debug and trace collections
- Diagnostics
- Static (no motion) and dynamic (in motion) tests executed within a vehicle in garage or on a test track.
- Bug reporting and reproduction testing
- Test results reporting
Mandatory Skills Description:
- Very strong communication skills (experienced in communication with internal and external stakeholders, including customer representatives)
- Strong understanding of testing principles and methods, perfect knowledge of test theory, ISTQB certificate is a big plus
- Experience of testing in a vehicle 2+ years.
- Experience with Advanced Driver Assist Systems products
- Experience with test case management, bug tracking and other tracking systems.
- Driver's License with driving experience of 5+ years
- Confident driver in any weather / environment conditions
- Readiness to perform extra effort when needed
- Experience with system test bench validation.
- Flexibility / ability to switch between different tasks (vehicle / bench, manual / auto , execution / troubleshooting / stakeholders' support
- 5 days a week onsite work
- up to 5 days a week work on test track, garage and parking lots.
- experience / understanding of physical principles, camera / ULS functioning, understanding of basic embedded software and system design principles
- ability to operate autonomously solve all problems and blockers to deliver result
- test design / test execution
- trace collection, DID / DTC analysis
- experience working with DOORs and knowledge of system requirements / test case design principles
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
Deep expertise in Computer Vision
Experience calibrating cameras and sensors
Experience working as resident engineer
Test automation skills (Python, CANoe, etc.)
FuSa ISO 26262 knowledge
