Summary

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager - Onsite for a contract to hire opportunity with a Major Financial Institution located in Brooklyn, OH or Cleveland, OH.

Compensation: $70.00 per hour, W2


Position Overview:
This role leads one or more Web/Mobile Application Development and/or front/back end processing projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be familiar with system scope, project objectives, and organizational change management to effectively coordinate team activities. This position involves developing partnerships with senior functional managers to prioritize projects and achieve business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead one or more Web/Mobile Application Development and/or front/back end processing projects, which may include directing third party resources as well as virtual teams
  • Develop and grow partnerships and foster relationships with senior functional managers and their management teams to prioritize projects and set/receive direction to achieve business objectives
  • Support business case development; perform project registration/consolidation/prioritization as required; create funding plan; and administer project pipeline checkpoints to drive delivery and mitigate/resolve bottlenecks
  • Define and manage project scope, scope changes, objectives, requirements, deliverables, and value proposition that support the diverse business goals and interests of multiple stakeholders
  • Develop integrated project plan; identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths; and track/report project milestones as well as status
  • Estimate resources needed to achieve project goals; track utilization; determine and assess need for additional staff and/or vendors; manage on/off-boarding; and monitor/manages vendor performance on labor resources
  • Draft and submit project budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary; conduct cost forecasting and actual tracking as well as variance reporting
  • Identify, track, escalate and resolve issue conflicts; perform impact analysis and prioritization; manage dependencies and track/monitors; and escalate risk with corrective/mitigating actions
  • Lead communication planning, execution and reporting with project team members; liaise with key stakeholders
  • Support development of change management planning, design and implementation including communication and training
  • Manage documentation and the knowledge transfer to the "business as usual" functions; conduct "lesson-learned" reviews


Core Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • PMI certification
  • Minimum five years of increasingly complex project related experience
  • Familiar with Jira, Scrum, Agile and Waterfall practices
  • Familiar with application development practices and cloud, network and security infrastructure components
  • Demonstrates critical thinking, problem solving and conflict management skills
  • Organized, self-disciplined, and able to lead others towards common outcomes and strategy execution
  • Highly polished and confident communication ability; possess written, verbal and stand-up presentation skills


Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge and experience in the financial services industry
