Hand Solderer Performs a variety of hand soldering to all classes of assemblies, including surface mount, thru-hole, wires/modification and rework using a microscope. In addition, may perform more complex assembly operations as assigned by the production supervisor.

Job Summary- Assemble electrical or electromechanical devices or components using a variety of hardware/tools.
- Operate a variety of equipment as needed to fulfill customer requirements.
- Understand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship. standard and class.
- Perform verification tests in accordance with assembly instructions.
- Perform work with minimal supervision and instruction.
- Rework and/or repair assemblies as required.
- Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members.
- Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste. generated in their work area.
- Perform other assignments as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Ability to learn basic component identification skills.
- Ability to perform simple task utilizing work instructions.
- Ability to perform basic and routine repetitive mechanical assembly operations using fixtures and tools.
- Ability to read and follow detailed assembly instructions.
- Abilities listed in General Requirements of Team Members.
- Must be quality-oriented with attention to detail.
- Excellent hand/eye coordination.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications- Knowledge of hand soldering.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
- Ability to use tools and testing devices.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, or other electronic certifications.
