We are seeking a Senior-level iOS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing and building e-commerce applications for the iOS platform. This role involves ensuring the performance, quality, scalability, and responsiveness of applications while collaborating with a team to define, design, and ship new features.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build e-commerce applications for the iOS platform.
• Ensure the performance, quality, stability, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and fix bugs.
• Help maintain high standards for code quality, architecture, organization, testing, and automation.
• Participate in architectural and technical design decisions.
• Lead and mentor junior developers.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mobile application development, with significant hands-on iOS development experience.
• Proven track record of designing and developing a complete iOS application from architecture through production release.
• Experience building and supporting large-scale, customer-facing mobile applications, preferably within e-commerce, retail, marketplace, or other high-transaction environments.

Technical Skills

• Expert-level iOS application development using Swift.
• Strong knowledge of Swift, iOS SDK, Xcode, and Apple's mobile development ecosystem.
• Strong experience with SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Experience integrating GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of iOS application architecture and common design patterns such as MVVM, MVC, Coordinator, or Clean Architecture.
• Experience building multi-threaded, asynchronous, and networked applications, including modern Swift concurrency using async/await.
• Strong knowledge of Grand Central Dispatch (GCD) and concurrency concepts.
• Expert-level debugging, profiling, and performance-analysis skills using Xcode debugging tools and Instruments.
• Experience with application lifecycle, memory management, performance optimization, and crash analysis.
• Experience with the Apple App Store submission and provisioning process, including certificates, provisioning profiles, signing, TestFlight, and production releases.
• Experience with web services as they relate to mobile applications.
• Experience with Protocol Buffers (Protobuf).
• Experience writing unit and UI tests, including tools such as XCTest/XCUITest.
• Experience working within CI/CD pipelines for iOS applications.
• Strong understanding of source control and collaborative development workflows using Git.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Apple App Store, TestFlight, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
• Experience developing large-scale e-commerce or retail applications involving product catalogs, search, shopping cart, checkout, payments, account management, or similar customer experiences.
• Experience with Core Animation, Metal, or other high-performance graphics frameworks.
• Experience with modular iOS architectures and large, multi-team codebases.
• Experience improving application startup time, memory utilization, networking performance, and UI responsiveness.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum engineering environment and collaborating with product, UX/design, backend engineering, and QA teams.
