We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the highest quality standards of our products. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in quality control, precision measurement, and mechanical inspection. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals committed to excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
2. Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
3. Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
4. Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications.
5. Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
6. Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
7. Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.
8. Supervise the production process to ensure that all products meet quality criteria.
9. Conduct first article inspection to validate the manufacturing process.
10. Use gauges and other test equipment to ensure product quality and integrity.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a quality inspector, or similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
3. Working knowledge of the use of all inspection gauges and test equipment.
4. Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
5. Keen attention to detail and results-driven approach.
6. Excellent knowledge of precision measurement.
7. Ability to interpret and implement quality assurance standards.
8. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
11. Proficiency in using computers and software to maintain records and generate reports.
12. Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.).
