Job Overview:

Pay Range: $80.00hr - $85.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Documented risk management experience.
• Completion of a Category 1 or 2 project of $5M or more, or completion of a project with a value greater than $10M as PM of record.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle models.
• Expert knowledge of Agile project management principles and practices.
• Well-versed with Scrum and Kanban Agile methodologies.
• Ability to analyze and document business and system processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities:

• Drive consistent project delivery through the entire project lifecycle, including project plans, release plans, and resource allocation.
• Manage project risks, scope, schedule, and delivery of value.
• Coordinate Agile Ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, Sprint Demos, Story Refinement, and Release Planning.
• Track and communicate project progress from a schedule, cost, and risk perspective to the project team, stakeholders, and management.
• Establish an environment where teams can be effective and assist in removing obstacles.
• Protect the team from outside interruptions and distractions.
• Ensure a productive relationship between the team, product owner, and external stakeholders.
• Track and report team velocity and other project metrics.
• Promote continuous improvement and help teams to increase productivity.
• Assist the Product Owner and team with Product backlog management.
• Ensure teams are practicing core Agile, Waterfall, and organizational principles and processes.
• Adhere to established project management practices as defined by the organization.

• Active Commonwealth PM Certification.
