Job Description
Java Backend developer (with hands-on in kotlin)
Expertise with Java/J2EE, Springboot, Kotlin,
Expertise with building RESTful APIs
Thorough understanding of JSON, Web Service technologies, and data structure fundamentals
Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
Confirmed experience with object-oriented design and coding with variety of languages
Should have knowledge on Agentic AI
Knowledge on code quality parameters and GIT branching concepts.
Knowledge on SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle/DB2, Cassandra / Couchbase).
Knowledge of Automated testing concepts using Selenium, REST Assured, Cucumber and CI/CD concepts with and exposure to tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, GIT.
Expertise in agile life-cycle management tools (JIRA/Rally), software testing standards, methods and conventions.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and implement features that meet business needs.
• Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring smooth operation under high load.
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment automation.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluations new tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to deploy and manage backend services in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to define API contracts and ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
