Job Description:
The Change Management Project Manager (CM PM) leads complex initiatives that require both strong delivery execution and intentional organizational change management. This role is responsible for ensuring solutions are not only implemented successfully, but fully adopted, sustained, and embedded into day-to-day operations.
The CM PM partners closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Product, Operations, QA, and functional leaders to plan and execute delivery while also owning stakeholder engagement, communication, training, readiness, and adoption strategies. This role ensures initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes, not just technical completion.
The role blends high-level project leadership and change management, with responsibilities flexing based on the needs and complexity of each strategic initiative.
This role operates in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and requires strong executive communication skills, influence without authority, and the ability to lead teams through ambiguity and change.
- Why is this role open?
- Client is rebuilding a core product within Client - basically their CRM/Client Hub within Salesforce. They are currently standing up a new SF instance for every client and they are looking to move this into a multi-tenant product for new client onboarding. As it is right now, if a client has a one-off request, they will accommodate. Goal is to have this new product still be customizable for clients but within certain parameters. They need someone to evangelize this throughout the organization and help get them into more of a product mindset. Product will go live in Q2 or Q3. But after this goes live, there will be other efforts to work on.
- Tell us more about the role. What will this person be doing on a day-to-day basis? What are the main objectives for this role?
- Looking for someone that has done Change Management in the past and create change management within the organization. Christa has ground-level thoughts on Change Management – needs someone that is experienced and understands what has worked and what hasn’t. If they have extra time, the Change Manager will be asked to project manage smaller projects - will likely be more internal operational enhancement projects. Won’t be working directly on the customer implementations. Technology experience like SaaS or Salesforce or Tableau/Snowflake upgrades is more important than industry for this role. Does not want someone to come in to dictate what needs to be done, wants a partner that will understand their environment and customize solutions that work for them.
- Must have requirements:
- Communication Skills are #1 – hold conversations and presentation with ELT on down
- Understanding of Salesforce is a huge benefit
- Patience – dealing with strong personalities
- Tools: Smartsheet, MS Office, SharePoint, Jira
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Present project and change status, risks, and outcomes to executive stakeholders.
- Own delivery alignment decisions and sequencing for strategic initiatives to maintain momentum and prevent stall.
- Ensure initiatives transition cleanly from launch to operational stability, with clear ownership, handoffs, and follow-up actions.
Change Management & Organizational Readiness
- Assess downstream operational, client, and end-user impacts of change initiatives.
