Overview
Seeking an experienced Linux Systems Developer with strong C++ and PostgreSQL expertise to build, compile, and support high-performance Linux applications, including integration with mainframe environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Linux applications using C++ and POSIX APIs

• Customize and maintain build systems (Makefiles, CMake), including cross-compilation

• Implement and tune PostgreSQL database logic and queries

• Integrate Linux applications with mainframe systems (z/OS USS, CICS, IMS)

• Provide production and non-production support, deployments, and troubleshooting

• Automate build and deployment processes using Shell/Python

• Collaborate with vendors and maintain SOP documentation

Required Skills

• Strong C++ (modern standards), multi-threading, and memory management

• Linux system programming and GNU toolchain

• PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization, PL/pgSQL)

• Cross-compilation and hybrid Linux–mainframe environments

• Debugging/profiling tools (gdb, strace, valgrind, perf)

• Shell and Python scripting

Nice to Have

• Linux on IBM Z, Docker/Kubernetes

• RACF/ACF2 security knowledge
