Location: Chicago, Illinois (Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking a product-minded analyst who can use data to define solutions and requirements. This role sits at the intersection of Product Analysis, Data Analysis, and Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM). The position supports a major CIAM modernization initiative focused on customer authentication and login experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer identity, authentication, login, OTP, and customer journey data to identify trends and friction points.
- Identify what data is currently available versus what data needs to be captured in the future-state platform.
- Help define reporting, metrics, dashboards, and analytical requirements.
- Partner with stakeholders including product owners, engineering, fraud prevention, UX, and operations to create requirements, user stories, and product recommendations.
- Drive product decisions through data insights.
- Support executive-level reporting and customer experience analytics.
- Ensure new CIAM capabilities integrate properly with reporting tools.
- Translate data findings into clear insights and backlog inputs that help prioritize CIAM enhancements.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Approximately 5+ years of experience in a data analyst or product analyst role. A strong candidate with 3-4 years of experience may be considered. Must have a strong Product Analyst mindset and hands-on experience.
Technical Skills: Advanced SQL and data querying skills are required. Experience with analytics, dashboarding, or reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Quantum Metric, or Splunk is necessary. Must have experience translating data insights into product requirements and creating user stories.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CIAM or IAM.
- Familiarity with identity and authentication concepts such as MFA, OTP, and login journeys.
- Exposure to Quantum Metric.
- Experience working in agile product environments and contributing to product discovery or backlog refinement.
- Practical experience using AI tools to improve productivity, analysis, or documentation.
