job summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer II to support and scale our enterprise network and multi-cloud environments. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high system performance, managing secure cloud connections, and ensuring robust connectivity across multiple enterprise platforms.

responsibilities:

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networking solutions across Fortinet, Meraki, and Cisco environments.

Manage and optimize cloud network infrastructure across Azure and AWS enterprise environments.

Oversee advanced TCP/IP network functions including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF routing protocols, and subnetting.

Perform network packet analysis, sniffing, and ongoing maintenance of core DNS, DHCP, and WINS services.

Collaborate with cross-functional IT and security teams to resolve complex networking tickets and network performance bottlenecks.

Document network architecture topology changes and maintain precise operational runbooks.

qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

3 to 5 years of network engineering or network administration experience.

Proven hands-on experience with Fortinet, Meraki, or Cisco enterprise networking technologies.

Core experience supporting Azure and AWS cloud networking environments.

Solid understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, routing protocols, and network troubleshooting tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Fortinet Certified Associate (FCA) or Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) certification.

Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) certification.
