Job Description:

  • The Technical Product Manager for T-Life is responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of T-Life's core platform capabilities across Tier-2 and Tier-3 support, observability, Al/GenieOps insights, security compliance, and platform reliability.
  • This role acts as the nexus between Engineering, DevOps, AppSec, SRE/Operations, Business Stakeholders, and Leadership, ensuring that T-Life's distributed microservices, API layers, and platform tools deliver a stable, scalable, and compliant experience for internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Roadmap (T-Life Focused)

  • Define and maintain the product roadmap for T-Life platform modules, integrations, and reliability improvements.
  • Prioritize feature development based on operational pain points, customer feedback, audit findings, and architecture dependencies (e.g., Conductor, BFFs, Metro, Vision services).
  • Align roadmap with T-Life's SLAS, SRE objectives, and leadership-driven KPIs.

2. Technical Requirements & Architecture Alignment

  • Work with engineering teams on defining technical requirements for:

o T-Life BFF and microservices updates o API enhancements and version upgrades

o Threat Modeling and access management reviews

o Al/GenieOps use cases (incident triage, noise reduction, proactive detection)

  • Validate technical feasibility, impact, risks, and dependencies across Conductor, Metro BFF, Instabug, and platform tooling.

3. Delivery & Execution (Agile / Two-Week Cycles)

  • Lead sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and refinement.
  • Drive engineering deliverables across client Tech teams, TAG, SRE, and AppSec.
  • Track development, testing, certification, and production rollout readiness.
  • Ensure clear documentation for audits, production support, and platform teams.

4. Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for updates to:

o T-Mobile Leadership o Engineering and Architecture owners

o TAG/SRE leads

  • Run fortnightly customer review sessions and showcase

5. Cross-Team Governance & Communication

  • Facilitate communications between Product, Engineering, DevOps, Security, and Operations.
  • Ensure timely closure of open engineering items and leader-visible reporting.
  • Maintain a RAID log, MoM, and executive communication framework for ongoing initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIS, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Helm), and cloud-native architectures.
  • Familiarity with observability stacks: Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, OTel.
  • Product & Leadership Skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear product requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven decision-making mindset.
  • Experience supporting high-availability, high-traffic platforms.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in telco, large-scale customer experience platforms, or API-driven ecosystems.
  • Experience driving bi-weekly agile releases with distributed teams (onshore/offshore).
