SAP MDG Functional Consultant (Multiple Domain Openings)

A leading consulting organization supporting large-scale federal ERP transformation initiatives is seeking experienced SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Functional Consultants across multiple functional domains, including:

• Business Partner (BP)
• Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
• Finance (FI)
• Funds Management (FM)

This is a fully remote opportunity supporting mission-critical SAP S/4HANA and ERP modernization programs within the federal sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MDG functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MDG solutions.
• Design and maintain master data governance processes, workflows, validation rules, and data quality controls.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and integration partners.
• Support data migration, cleansing, governance strategies, and master data harmonization initiatives.
• Configure and optimize SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA, and ERP data management processes.
• Develop functional specifications and support technical development teams.
• Participate in solution architecture discussions, testing cycles, training, and production support activities.
• Ensure compliance with federal standards, governance policies, and audit requirements.
• Provide subject-matter expertise within one or more SAP functional domains.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP functional consulting experience.
• 3+ years of SAP MDG implementation, support, or enhancement experience.
• Strong understanding of master data management principles and governance frameworks.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Ability to work remotely while supporting U.S. federal programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting federal, defense, aerospace, or public sector organizations.
• Multiple SAP lifecycle implementations.
• Knowledge of data migration, data quality, and governance best practices.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, workflow management, and integration technologies.
• SAP certifications within MDG and relevant functional modules.
• Experience in one or more functional areas such as Finance, Asset Management, Business Partner, Procurement, Budgeting, or Funds Management.
