Summary
UNIVERSAL Technologies has several openings for PMP Certified Project Managers with availability to work onsite in New York City.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience on enterprise level software development, system projects involving multiple workstreams.
Duties:
- Handle day-to-day project management including maintaining and developing all project management artifacts
- Work with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and vendors to coordinate project deliverables
- Identify and document project risks and escalate as necessary
- Lead status review and meetings with teams and management
- Assume accountability to ensure all project deadlines and commitments are met
Required Qualifications
- PMP Certification mandatory in addition to 5 years of experience in enterprise level project management
- Proven experience in Risk Management and PM documentation including the creation of detailed Project Management Plans, Status Reports, Project tracking Spreadsheets, Risk logs and more
- Experience in legacy modernization initiatives
- Proficiency with Project Management tools including MS Office and JIRA
- Experience working in financial services, or enterprise modernization programs
- Experience working on complex technology projects with many workstreams
- Must have experience working through complete Software Development Lifecycle in Agile and Waterfall and hybrid methodologies.
