Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Create, test, maintain, update, and support standard Windows desktop and laptop images.
- Review and develop standardized endpoint images aligned with enterprise standards and approved configurations.
- Deploy operating system images to desktops and laptops using approved enterprise image deployment processes.
- Validate image functionality, application compatibility, security controls, and operating system configurations prior to deployment.
- Support device provisioning, configuration, software installation, and operating system deployment activities.
- Create and maintain image documentation, build procedures, testing results, and release records.
- Support hardware refresh, replacement, migration, deployment, and re-imaging activities.
- Coordinate with application owners and support teams to ensure software packages are compatible with standard desktop images.
- Test and certify image updates, patches, drivers, and software releases before production deployment.
- Maintain image versions and support release management activities for desktop image updates.
- Ensure all image configurations comply with customer security, operational, and configuration management standards.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Windows desktop and laptop imaging.
- Experience creating, maintaining, testing, and deploying enterprise desktop images.
- Experience with OS deployment, image refresh, and device provisioning activities.
- Knowledge of desktop application packaging and software deployment concepts.
- Experience supporting enterprise endpoint standards, configurations, and lifecycle management.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
