Job Description: SAP BusinessObjects Consultant experienced in upgrading and migrating enterprise reporting environments. The role focuses on modernizing an existing SAP BO 4.2 and Crystal Reports 2016 setup through phased upgrades to SAP BO 4.3, Crystal Reports 2020, and SAP BO 2025, with a Windows Server 2022 migration. Responsibilities include current-state assessment, migration planning, upgrade execution, testing, production cutovers, and knowledge transfer. Hands-on expertise with BO platform components, security, scheduling, universes, reports, and integrations is required to minimize risk and ensure a smooth transition across multiple phases.
- Strong SAP BusinessObjects upgrade experience (4.2 to 4.3) and ongoing platform modernization
- Crystal Reports 2016 to Crystal Reports 2020 migration
- Windows Server 2022 migration and server hardening
- Multi-phase upgrade planning (4.3 to 2025) with validated architecture and rollback strategies
- Comprehensive testing, production deployment, and knowledge transfer
