Description
We are looking for an experienced Job Captain to join our team in Grapevine, Texas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating project teams, ensuring collaboration across departments, and maintaining high-quality standards. This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise to challenging projects while driving innovation and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate internal and external teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to evaluate and develop new design initiatives, including options, styles, and details.
Oversee multiple project teams and external consultants, fostering communication and shared best practices.
Assist in the discovery and design phases of new technology projects, providing valuable input and feedback.
Ensure compliance with construction codes and project workflow criteria, adhering to established standards and procedures.
Manage data collection and interpretation to support project goals and decision-making processes.
Lead efforts to identify roadblocks and propose solutions, encouraging continuous improvement.
Provide business analysis to support senior leadership in decision-making and governance of standards.
Contribute to the development and refinement of operational policies and procedures.
Maintain a proactive approach to quality control and project management, ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
Requirements
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and multidisciplinary projects effectively.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with clear and detail-oriented articulation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other project management tools.
Solid understanding of construction codes, design practices, and quality standards.
Experience in business analysis and governance of operational standards.
Knowledge of residential construction processes and frameworks.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and make informed decisions in complex scenarios.
