Software Engineer (Java / Angular) — Remote (Ohio) / Hybrid (Dayton–Cincinnati)

The Role

We’re hiring a Software Engineer to build and maintain web applications and services using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular/TypeScript. You’ll collaborate with a small team, deliver production features, and improve reliability/performance over time.

What you’ll do

• Build backend services (Java/Spring Boot) and REST APIs

• Build frontend features in Angular (TypeScript)

• Write tests, debug issues, and support releases

• Participate in code reviews and iterative delivery (Agile-style)

• Collaborate with engineers and client stakeholders to deliver working software

What we’re looking for (must-have)

• Ohio resident (Dayton/Cincinnati area preferred for occasional onsite)

• 1–6 years professional software development experience

• Java experience (Spring Boot preferred)

• Angular + TypeScript experience

• Experience working with APIs and relational databases (SQL)

• Comfortable with Git and collaborative development

Nice to have

• Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure)

• CI/CD familiarity

• Experience in consulting/client-facing environments

• Experience with automated testing (JUnit, Jest, Cypress, etc.)

Work location

• Remote within Ohio, with optional/hybrid collaboration in Dayton/Cincinnati as needed.
