Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and execute Technology Business Management (TBM) Expense Transparency activities across IT divisions, ensuring consistent financial reporting, cost allocation, and cost modeling practices.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance TBM financial models and reporting frameworks, including cost allocation models, service mappings, and run/grow/transform categorizations.
- Partner with IT Service Owners and Finance teams to validate financial inputs, align cost structures, and improve visibility into IT expense drivers.
- Maintain and support reporting that provides actionable spend insights to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Review, validate, and optimize TBM allocation methodologies to improve accuracy and transparency.
- Ensure financial reporting accuracy through continuous refinement of data sources, allocation rules, mapping logic, and cost modeling assumptions.
- Analyze complex financial and operational datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Facilitate collaboration between IT, Finance, Procurement, and business stakeholders to strengthen financial accountability and transparency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Technology Business Management (TBM), IT Financial Management, Cost Transparency, or related financial governance functions.
- Strong understanding of IT financial operations, including:
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Cost allocation methodologies
- Procurement and vendor management
- Contract management
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, complex formulas, pivot tables, scenario analysis, and reporting automation.
- Experience working with large, complex financial datasets and translating data into meaningful business insights.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TBM tools, cost modeling frameworks, and IT cost transparency reporting.
- Proficiency with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including IT Financial Management (ITFM), CMDB, service taxonomy, asset management, and workflow processes.
- Experience working with PeopleSoft Financials or similar ERP platforms.
- Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in TBM, IT Financial Management, Project Management, or related disciplines are a plus.
