Role Overview

We are seeking a FLEXCUBE Backend Developer with strong Java development and payments domain experience to support enterprise banking payment systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing backend services, APIs, and integrations with Oracle FLEXCUBE and Oracle Banking Payments Module (OBPM).

This role will focus on building and maintaining payment integrations, backend services, and microservices that interact with FLEXCUBE systems, rather than functional configuration of the FLEXCUBE platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using Java within a banking or financial services environment.
• Build and support integrations with Oracle FLEXCUBE and Oracle Banking Payments Module (OBPM).
• Develop REST APIs and microservices to support payment processing workflows.
• Implement backend logic for payment processing systems including wire transfers, ACH, and other payment rails.
• Collaborate with architecture, integration, and payment platform teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Work on system enhancements, production support, and performance optimization for payment applications.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of complex backend systems.
• Ensure adherence to banking security, compliance, and data integrity standards.

Required Skills

• Strong Java backend development experience (Java, Spring, Spring Boot).
• Experience working with Oracle FLEXCUBE or Oracle Banking Payments Module (OBPM) environments.
• Experience developing APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of payment processing systems (ACH, Wire, SWIFT, RTP, or other banking payment rails).
• Experience with SQL / Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with messaging systems or integration frameworks (Kafka, MQ, JMS, etc.).
• Strong understanding of backend architecture and distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large banking or financial services environments.
• Prior experience with Oracle Banking platforms or payment hubs.
• Knowledge of cloud or container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with event-driven architecture or middleware platforms.
