Job Description :
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with a strong understanding of the BFSI Banking domain
You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of high value systems including automated credit decisioning, treasury management portals and complex lending engines
Key Responsibilities
- Senior QA Test Analyst role in Data Lake and Data Warehouse team working on solutions to leverage data as a business asset
- Develop test strategies and test plans for Data Lake projects ensure IT SDLC processes are documented and followed
- Execute test cases and communicate status to stakeholders
- Work with Azure DevOps Python Data Lake AWS Snowflake Zena and DataStage
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies provide QA estimates
- Create and execute manual and automated test cases support releases maintain and modernize automation frameworks
- Automate regression testing coordinate with offshore teams provide daily status reports track defects to closure
- Proactively communicate risks
- Strong experience with SQL ETL testing and data warehouse concepts including star and snowflake schema OLAP
- Proficiency in test automation tools Cucumber Selenium PyTest DBT
- Experience with cloud data platforms
- Defect Bug Triage
- Strong SQL skills Snowflake and Oracle databases
- Experience supporting Finance or Regulatory Reporting ETL workloads
- Solid understanding of ETL performance tuning and parallelism concepts
- Knowledge of job scheduling tools Control M preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with a banking client
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting domains such as FR Y 9C FFIEC
- Exposure to cloud data platforms Azure AWS
- Experience with Data Quality Metadata or Data Governance systems
- Soft Skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Analytical detail oriented and proactive in problem solving
- Ability to support high pressure reporting cycles with tight deadlines
- ADO SQL Snowflake Oracle Python AWS Azure
