Job Description
We are looking for a QA Mobile Engineer to join our engineering team and be responsible for testing and validating mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in mobile application testing, automation, API testing, and end-to-end quality assurance within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for iOS and Android mobile applications.
Build and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium, Selenium, or similar tools.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
Validate mobile applications across different devices, OS versions, screen sizes, and network conditions.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and validate REST/JSON-based services.
Identify, troubleshoot, document, and track defects using Jira or similar defect-management tools.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure product quality.
Participate in test planning, test case design, sprint planning, and release activities.
Analyze logs and troubleshoot issues across mobile applications and backend services.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous testing.
Ensure adequate test coverage for new features, enhancements, and production fixes.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in QA/Test Engineering, with strong mobile testing experience.
Hands-on experience testing iOS and/or Android applications.
Strong experience with Appium and mobile automation.
Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages for test automation.
Strong knowledge of API testing, REST services, JSON, and Postman.
Experience with Selenium and automation frameworks.
Experience with Jira, Git, and CI/CD tools.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience testing large-scale consumer, e-commerce, or retail mobile applications.
Experience with Android Studio, Xcode, Firebase, Charles Proxy, or similar mobile debugging tools.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and backend service validation.
Experience integrating mobile automation into Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD platforms.
