Security and Governance

Design Salesforce security models including roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, restriction rules, and organization-wide defaults.

Ensure solutions align with enterprise security, compliance, privacy, and data governance requirements.

Design authentication and authorization solutions using technologies such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SSO, and MFA.

Review solutions for appropriate handling of sensitive and regulated information.

Support Salesforce platform governance, release management, and technical risk management.

DevOps and Application Lifecycle Management

Define and improve Salesforce development, testing, deployment, and release-management processes.

Support CI/CD strategies using tools such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, Gearset, Copado, Salesforce CLI, or equivalent technologies.

Establish branching, code review, automated testing, and deployment standards.

Promote appropriate use of Salesforce environments, sandboxes, scratch orgs, and source-driven development.

Help establish monitoring and operational support practices for production Salesforce environments.

Technical Leadership

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Salesforce developers, administrators, and other architects.

Review technical designs and code to ensure quality, maintainability, security, and performance.

Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex platform, integration, and production issues.

Work closely with project managers and delivery leadership to identify technical risks, dependencies, and implementation constraints.
