SharePoint Developer (Remote)

Job Title: Senior SharePoint Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: 36 Months

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint 365 portals and custom business applications.
• Configure and customize SharePoint out-of-the-box features including pages, forms, workflows, and document libraries.
• Develop custom solutions using C#, MVC architecture, or Java (Java 1.8, JSP, JDBC).
• Build and maintain SharePoint workflows, web parts, and integrations with cloud services and third-party tools.
• Manage SharePoint Designer configurations and workflow automation.
• Design and manage large-scale document libraries and enterprise content structures.
• Develop custom applications supporting CRUD operations.
• Perform SharePoint administration tasks, including managing site collections, sub-sites, and security permissions.
• Implement information architecture, site structures, and governance policies.
• Configure SharePoint services, manage site quotas, and maintain content databases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for requirements gathering, planning, and prioritization of projects.
• Provide proactive technical solutions and ensure the reliability and performance of SharePoint applications.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of experience developing and maintaining medium to large SharePoint environments.
• Strong experience developing enterprise applications using C# with MVC architecture or Java technologies.
• Extensive experience with SharePoint out-of-the-box features, including:
  • Content Management
  • Wiki & Blogs
  • Search Configuration
• Experience with:
  • Business Connectivity Services (BCS)
  • Master Pages
  • Page Layouts
  • Web Parts
  • Workflow Foundation
  • User Store configuration
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Designer.
• Experience building and managing large document libraries.
• Experience developing applications supporting CRUD operations.
• Experience managing SharePoint security for sites and sub-sites.
• Experience designing SharePoint information architecture and site layouts.
• Experience configuring SharePoint services, site quotas, and limits.
• Strong experience with MS SQL Server, database design, and stored procedures.
• Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
