JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Functional Consultant to lead the manufacturing workstream within a complex Oracle EBS-to-Fusion Cloud SaaS Assessment and implementation engagement for a global CPG and Apparel & Footwear brand. The ideal candidate will analyze and redesign complex Oracle EBS R12 Manufacturing configurations including Work Orders, Bills of Materials (BOM), Configure-to-Order (CTO), cresting/logo fee workflows, and PLM Design-to-Release and deliver an Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud target architecture aligned to Modern Best Practices. This role requires deep technical-functional depth across Oracle Manufacturing Cloud, Oracle Agile PLM Cloud, and Oracle Fusion Costing, with strong cross-functional integration across SCM, Finance, and Procurement workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead current state assessment of Oracle EBS R12 Manufacturing: WIP, BOM, Routings, Oracle Configurator (CTO/ATO/PTO), Shop Floor Control, Quality, and Cost Management modules.
- Document and classify Oracle EBS Manufacturing RICEFW customizations including CTO request sets, concurrent programs, custom BOM management, cresting/logo fee workflows, and Informatica-based 3PL delivery extraction.
- Conduct Oracle Fusion MBP Fit-Gap Analysis for all manufacturing processes with specific focus on CTO/ATO order flows, Work Order management, Shop Floor execution, PLM Design-to-Release, and Manufacturing-to-Finance Costing integration.
- Develop future-state Manufacturing process maps aligned to Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud Modern Best Practices using our Oracle Modern CPG Industry Template.
- Design Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing target architecture: Manufacturing Cloud (Work Orders, Work Centers, Shop Floor), Product Hub (Item Master, BOM), and Oracle Agile PLM Cloud (ECR/ECO, Supplier Collaboration, Product Quality Management).
- Lead Conference Room Pilot (CRP 0 and CRP 1) sessions to demonstrate Fusion CTO flows, BOM management, Work Order execution, and PLM-to-SCM release to validate gap closure approaches with client SMEs.
- Define the PLM-to-SCM Design-to-Release process in Oracle Fusion, covering ECR/ECO governance, Supplier Collaboration within PLM, and Release to SCM orchestration.
- Define OIC integration design approach for Manufacturing-to-WMS (3PL) delivery extraction, migrating from Informatica-based EBS patterns to OIC-based Oracle Fusion equivalents.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with SCM, Finance (Costing), Procurement (Direct Materials), and PLM workstreams to ensure manufacturing data flows and costing are fully integrated in the future-state design.
Qualifications
- 8 10 years of Oracle Manufacturing functional consulting, with minimum 3 4 years in Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud implementations or assessments.
- Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud: Discrete Manufacturing, Work Orders, Work Centers, Resources, Shop Floor Control, and Manufacturing Costing.
- Strong experience in Oracle EBS R12 Manufacturing: WIP, BOM, Routings, Oracle Configurator (CTO/ATO/PTO), ASCP, Quality, and Cost Management, with ability to evaluate custom PL/SQL and concurrent programs.
- Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Product Hub (Item Master, BOM) and Oracle Agile PLM Cloud (Design to Release, ECR/ECO, Supplier Collaboration, Product Quality Management).
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Costing for manufacturing: Standard Cost rollup, Work Order cost reviews, Manufacturing variances, Overhead Accounting Rules, and Manufacturing Subledger Accounting.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Configure-to-Order (CTO) flows, Groovy scripting for attribute-driven configurations, and parent-child order frameworks in manufacturing contexts.
- Proficiency in Oracle Unified Method (OUM) and strong MS Visio (L2/L3 process mapping), MS Excel (RICEFW catalog), and MS PowerPoint (executive deliverables) skills.
- Minimum 2 full-lifecycle Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud implementations, including CRP facilitation and UAT support, with at least one EBS-to-Fusion migration engagement.
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with AI-augmented tools such as our AI Maestro for fit-gap modeling of CTO/ATO customizations and process insights generation.
Experience with Celonis process mining applied to Manufacturing execution data: work order cycle time, BOM accuracy, and on-time delivery benchmarking.
Domain experience in Apparel, Footwear, Sports Equipment, or CPG Manufacturing with product customization (cresting, embroidery, logo applications) and multi-echelon supply chains.
Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their translation into Oracle Fusion flow manufacturing or Work Order management configurations.
Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud Certified Implementation Specialist or APICS CPIM certification is a plus.
