Job Details:
We are seeking a New Product & Optimization, Sr. Scientist to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of new products, leading the way in innovative diagnostic manufacturing solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in leading upstream process development, and will be responsible for driving forward our product development and optimization initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and optimization of new and existing products, using your expertise in strain improvement, media optimization, and process scalability.
  • Develop and implement strategies for product optimization, ensuring that they are scalable and feasible for large-scale manufacturing.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing, to ensure that the product optimization strategies align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough and detailed analyses of the manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Utilize your strong technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the product development and optimization process.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management, effectively communicating complex scientific concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in product development and optimization, applying this knowledge to your work.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Microbiology.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the diagnostic manufacturing industry, with a strong focus on product development and optimization.
  • Proven expertise in strain improvement, media optimization, and process scalability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex scientific concepts to a non-scientific audience.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to work, with a strong desire to drive forward product development and optimization initiatives.
  • A strong understanding of the manufacturing industry and the latest trends and advancements in product development and optimization.
