Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and organized IT Project Manager to lead medium to large internal initiatives. This role requires driving project delivery across financial, scope, schedule, and risk management dimensions while ensuring alignment with overarching company strategy. You will collaborate across business areas to direct cross-functional IT and business project teams and contribute to ongoing PMO process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of complex IT and business projects
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans for project teams, customers, and sponsors
- Determine project schedules, identify critical paths and potential risks, and enforce delivery methodology and scheduling standards
- Forecast, manage, and report on project financials, resource utilization, and cost-to-completion projections
- Manage funding documentation, financial processes, and collaborate with strategic sourcing teams to prepare RFPs, MSAs, and SOWs
- Facilitate project reviews, retrospectives, status reporting, and executive reviews, while participating in PMO onboarding and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Project Management role with a background in team development
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an information technology capacity, with a solid understanding of applications, databases, networking, telecommunications, and security
- Extensive knowledge of project management life cycles and systems development life cycles (e.g., Agile, Iterative, Waterfall)
- Master-level proficiency in the MS Office Suite, alongside familiarity with Portfolio/Program Management software such as Clarity
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent practical experience preferred
