We are seeking an experienced Software Solutions Architect / Salesforce Application Architect to lead the architecture, design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions supporting critical Child Welfare and State Hospital systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce architecture, enterprise application modernization, system integration, security, DevOps, and technical leadership. This role will focus on designing scalable and maintainable solutions using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Field Service Lightning (FSL).
Key Responsibilities :
Lead end-to-end architecture and technical design of Salesforce solutions supporting case management, field service operations, and user engagement.
Conduct Salesforce org health checks and platform assessments and provide recommendations based on best practices.
Participate in Design and Discovery sessions and promote Salesforce Well-Architected Framework principles.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Lead and oversee Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate technical feasibility and business value.
Ensure Secure Application Development Lifecycle (SADLC) practices are followed throughout development and deployment.
Set the technical direction for enterprise applications and modernization initiatives.
Support high-availability Tier 2 applications and ensure security, performance, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
Lead the design, development, testing, and documentation of technical software solutions.
Solve complex system design and programming issues.
Plan and coordinate integration with internal systems, external partners, agencies, and hosting platforms.
Design and implement application security in compliance with organizational policies and standards.
Perform impact analysis for legislative, business process, and system changes.
Review and approve technical design strategies, engineering methodology, and required technical deliverables.
Work with Agile teams and product owners to refine SADLC processes, prioritize backlogs, and maintain release readiness.
Drive DevOps best practices, configuration management, automated testing, and multi-environment deployments.
Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements to tools, processes, and development practices.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree required.
5+ years of experience gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, SQL, Java, and Web Services development.
Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, including:
Pipeline-as-Code
Branching strategies
Automated code reviews
Automated testing
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
2–3 Salesforce certifications required.
Strong experience with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with DevOps practices, including automated builds, regression/smoke testing, and multi-environment deployments.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide technical leadership.
Preferred Qualifications :
Salesforce Architect Certification
Experience with enterprise-level Salesforce implementations.
Database-related certifications.
Strong experience with Oracle SQL, including query development, execution, and performance tuning.
Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Field Service Lightning (FSL).
Experience leading large-scale application modernization and system integration initiatives.
