Role Description:We are seeking a dedicated Process Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Baton Rouge, LA. The successful candidate will assist with analyzing, designing, and improving industrial processes to enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability. Responsibilities include developing process designs, monitoring process performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize results. The Process Engineer will support the planning, evaluation, and execution of projects while maintaining adherence to operational and safety standards.
Qualifications:- Experience in Process Design and Process Engineering
- 2-3 years of experience in relief valve design and scenario analysis
- Knowledge of P&IDs, PFDs, and H&MB
- Knowledge of chemical engineering simulation software's such as ASPEN HYSYS
- Excellent Analytical Skills to solve engineering problems effectively and efficiently
- Educational background in Chemical Engineering or a related field; Bachelor's degree required
- Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with industry safety regulations and guidelines is an advantage
- Prior experience or internship in an industrial or engineering-focused environment such as an EPC is a plus
