Principal Test Engineer

A Day in the Life at MKS:
As a Test Engineer at MKS Andover, you will partner with R&D, Engineering, Product management, Applications, and customers to develop and support vacuum valves.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• In this role, you will make a meaningful impact by contributing to the design and development of advanced products for Semiconductor Fabrication Equipment.

• Design and Build test equipment for vacuum valves.

• Design, execute and document performance and life tests

• Specify requirements for clean room facilities

• Specify requirements for high purity cleaning equipment

• Design, specify, and execute test methods for particle metrology

Skills You Bring:

• Knowledge and experience of high purity vacuum systems

• Knowledge and experience with particle metrology for semiconductor processing equipment

• Knowledge and experience of product testing in an R&D environment

• BS Engineering Degree or equivalent

• 8+ years experience, preferably with Semiconductor Equipment

• System Design and integration skills involving mechanical, pneumatic, controls, and Labview

Preferred Skills:

• Experience Semiconductor manufacturing equipment

• Experience with valves for high vacuum equipment

• Experience with on wafer particle metrology

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time

• Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination

• Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 20 lbs.

• Operates in a professional office and/or laboratory/manufacturing environment

• Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards, including handling vacuum systems, mechanical hardware, and associated laboratory equipment

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Pay Range: $

Total Base Pay Range 109,750.00 - 182,900.00 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
