JOB LOCATION: 300 North Point Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA 30005

DUTIES: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, system architects, product owners, and clients to gather, analyze, and refine detailed software requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance. Participate in agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement and sprint planning to break down user stories, provide accurate effort estimates, and prioritize development tasks effectively. Develop comprehensive software design specifications and technical documentation that guide the implementation of robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions within the Application On Demand (AOD) platform. Architect, design, and implement microservices and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies, ensuring seamless integration with cloud infrastructure and external developer tools. Collaborate with engineers and architects to assess and validate hardware-software interactions, particularly focusing on cloud-based environments such as Azure App Services, Azure Key Vaults, and associated network configurations including private endpoints, DNS zones. Create, maintain, and execute automated test plans and strategies derived from business requirements, covering functional testing, integration testing, interface testing, dynamic application security testing (DAST), and end-to-end user acceptance testing (UAT). Lead efforts to identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects and configuration issues in development, staging, and production environments, working collaboratively with DevOps and QA teams to ensure smooth deployment and high system reliability. Utilize CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins, Azure DevOps to automate build, test, and deployment processes, improving software delivery velocity while maintaining quality and security standards. Monitor application performance and security posture using tools such as Azure Monitor, Veracode, and internal logging systems, proactively addressing vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks. Design and implement asynchronous processing techniques to optimize performance of resource provisioning workflows, ensuring timely and reliable access to critical development tools. Manage and enforce access controls in alignment with SOX compliance requirements, coordinating with audit teams to support regulatory reviews and maintain AT&T's security posture. Provide ongoing technical support for the AOD platform, troubleshooting environment issues, and facilitating configuration adjustments to accommodate evolving business needs and technology upgrades. Support the software deployment lifecycle by collaborating with release management teams, validating deployment artifacts, and ensuring successful rollout with minimal downtime. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements, applying this expertise to continuously improve the platform's design, security, and operational efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, and Three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or Three (3) years of experience in a related occupation developing comprehensive software design specifications and technical documentation that guide the implementation of robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions within the Application On Demand (AOD) platform; architecting, designing, and implementing microservices and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies, ensuring seamless integration with cloud infrastructure and external developer tools; and utilizing CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins, Azure DevOps to automate build, test, and deployment processes, improving software delivery velocity while maintaining quality and security standards.
