Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst II to support application development and system enhancement initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to analyze business requirements, document processes, facilitate communication, perform testing, and support software delivery throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, experience gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders, and expertise in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:

- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Develop use cases, process flows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Analyze current and future business processes and identify system impacts.
- Create project documentation and user support materials.
- Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams throughout the SDLC.

- Ensure system designs align with established organizational standards, architecture, and best practices.
< data-end="1556" data-start="1518">Testing & Quality Assurance (25%)>
- Develop test plans, test data, and test scripts.
- Execute functional and system testing.
- Analyze test results and troubleshoot defects.
- Support quality assurance efforts to ensure maintainable and reliable applications.
< data-end="1836" data-start="1785">Project Communication & Status Reporting (25%)>
- Provide regular updates on enhancement activities, project progress, and issue resolution.
- Communicate critical system issues to project leadership.
- Participate in project status meetings and collaborate with developers, analysts, database administrators, and project managers.
- Maintain accurate updates within project tracking and ticketing systems.
- Present technical and functional information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-training activities.
- Create and maintain documentation covering system architecture, workflows, integrations, and dependencies.
- Support implementation planning and provide recommendations for system improvements.
Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in Medicaid Claims Processing.
- 5+ years of experience analyzing business requirements and identifying solution alternatives.
- 5+ years of experience reviewing operational procedures and improving business systems.
- 5+ years of experience creating functional specifications and system documentation.
- 5+ years of experience conducting cost-benefit analyses and evaluating system solutions.
- 5+ years of experience documenting data input/output requirements and reporting needs.
- 5+ years of experience using Azure DevOps.
- 5+ years of experience creating wireframes and process documentation.
- Experience working within Agile and/or Scrum development environments.

Location
Hybrid work model with a combination of onsite and remote work.
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on project needs.
