Job Title: Process Quality EngineerLocation: Sturbridge, MA
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 | Direct Hire
Job Summary:We are hiring a Process Quality Engineer to support manufacturing quality systems, process improvement, and compliance initiatives. This role focuses on enhancing process documentation, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement efforts in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with manufacturing teams to define product and assembly requirements
- Develop and maintain process documentation to ensure clarity and compliance
- Identify and implement quality improvements and risk reduction strategies
- Lead internal audits, Gemba walks, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage change control processes for document updates and releases
- Evaluate and improve existing processes for efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering or process improvement
- SOP and policy creation
- Strong data analysis experience
- Formalized problem-solving ability
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, auditing, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
