Ideal Candidate Should Have

1. 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO modules including Material Ledger, CO-PC, CO-PA, and FI submodules

3. Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes in Finance and Controlling
4. Proven success in leading SAP projects or functional areas within SAP implementation
5. Familiarity with Concur, Vertex, VIM, Ariba, and their integration with SAP

Job Description

Thinking Minds Inc.'s client is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to serve as a key member of their digital transformation initiatives. The selected professional will act as both a functional expert and strategic partner, helping streamline financial and controlling processes by optimizing SAP landscapes and integrating related systems.

This role involves guiding best practices, defining solution roadmaps, and designing future-ready architectures for financial operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with global teams, understand business challenges, and design scalable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a functional SAP expert in the Finance and Controlling domains, especially with FI and CO modules, including CO-PA, CO-PC, and Material Ledger
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and define functional specifications
• Design, configure, and implement SAP solutions with integration across other modules like MM, PP, SOP
• Lead or contribute to full-cycle SAP implementations, upgrades, or enhancements
• Work on system testing, data conversion, training, and documentation
• Provide ongoing SAP support and work closely with the Application Managed Services (AMS) teams
• Participate in strategic IT planning by developing digital roadmaps and business cases
• Mentor peers and junior consultants, promoting cross-functional knowledge sharing
• Stay up to date on SAP's latest developments to drive innovation

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
2. 8+ years of SAP FICO experience, preferably with full implementation exposure
3. Expertise in submodules such as Fixed Assets, Treasury, Credit Control, AP, AR, Bank Communication
4. Experience working with third-party tools like Concur, VIM, Vertex, and Ariba and ensuring their integration with SAP
5. Working knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, Agile methodologies, and IT governance practices
6. Strong communication and strategic thinking skills with the ability to lead change across a global enterprise
